2022 ICCP Meeting in New Delhi, India

ICCP is delighted to welcome you to the 73^nd International Committee for Coal and Organic Petrology taking place in New Delhi, India

Distinguished Guests, Ladies and Gentlemen,

It is our proud privilege to invite all members of the coal, mining, steel, energy and other related industries to attend the 73rd Annual Meeting And Symposium of The International Committee for Coal & Organic Petrology (ICCP-2022), at New Delhi, India during September 18 -25, 2022. This is the 2nd occasion that this meeting will be held in India. The first one was held at Science City, Kolkata during 20-27 September, 2014. The venue of the meeting and symposium is Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, the capital of India. New Delhi does not need any introduction, being the historical city and surrounded by many historical monuments of attraction to tourists and pilgrims as well.

The symposium has been designed on the theme “Recent trends on coal utilisation for sustainable development and energy security”. The symposium will focus on topical issues on coal usage for Steel & Power industries with exposures on new and emerging techniques. Apart from a content–rich programme, you will have the opportunity to undertake a two day field trip being proposed during September 24-25 September 2022 to a nearby place of interest for technical as well as historical importance. Delegates will also have ample opportunity to network with contemporaries. First time visitors to this part of the country can also take this opportunity to visit many heritage monuments.
