Updates regarding COVID-19 outbreak and 2020 ICCP Meeting in China

This is an update related to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak also known as Coronavirus. The main outbreak is in Hubei Province, China with associated patients diagnosed in mainland China and a rising number of other countries. In recent days there have been significant outbreaks in South Korea, Italy, Japan, Iran, and the likelihood of a global pandemic has increased. The outbreak is of course directly linked to the fate of the 2020 ICCP meeting scheduled to take place in Xuzhou, in the province of Jiangsu, China. For the time being there is no change in the original plans.
In conjunction with the Chinese organising committee, the ICCP council is monitoring the situation closely and further updates will be released, and actions will be taken as appropriate
